Do you provide virtual/on-line therapy/counseling/coaching services to your clients?
Are you an amateur when using technology to appropriately, ethically and securely deliver your services?
Gestalt therapists/counselors/coaches have been – and will continue - providing their services using on-line platforms (e.g., Zoom). How many of us have an understanding of the exposure and risk associated with practicing online? Perhaps you, too, want (and need) a quick and informative understanding with an easy-to-implement set of items to reduce your risk/exposure and improve your effectiveness for delivering services online.
Bring your favorite beverage and join us for three short, practical and happy-hour-time sessions to learn and implement a few high-impact things you can do immediately to reduce your online risk and increase your online effectiveness.
Session 1: Get rid of risk: Understand the overt and hidden risks providing online therapy/counseling/coaching, including steps to take to mitigate them.
Session 2: Implement what you need: Open session, like “office hours” to get your questions answered and assist each person in taking the specific appropriate actions needed.
Session 3: Enhance your effectiveness: In a thought-partnership session, learn and share practical ideas to increase your online embodiment and maximize your impact as you work the on-line relational field.
Participants completing this workshop series of 3 sessions will be able to:
Describe the core principles of maintaining client confidentiality and protecting sensitive information in virtual therapy settings.
Identify common privacy and security risks in virtual practice and learn practical strategies to mitigate them.
Develop a clear framework to ensure clients’ stories are honored and safeguarded through ethical and secure practices.
Gather information about other interveners experiences and the strategies used to manage challenges.
Increase knowledge of additional pitfalls that could emerge, through dialogue with colleagues.
Apply the learnings from the sessions into your own practice right away.
